Since last July, the future of C8 has been completely unclear. While Arcom has ruled on the non-renewal of the frequency from next Friday February 28, the channel has decided to launch a petition. To date , it has already reached more than 870,000 signatures. Besides that, an appeal to the Council of State has been made. But last week, he ruled that this appeal was inadmissible.

Why did the Council of State reject C8's appeal?

In a press release, the Council of State explained that the request was far too premature to rule on the renewal or not of C8. In this press release, it was written: “This pre-selection list (…) does not constitute an allocation for the candidates appearing there, nor rejection of their candidacy for the others. This list of pre-selected candidates, which is a practice of Arcom and is not not provided for by law, does not constitute the outcome of the DTT frequency allocation procedure.”

Subsequently, the Council of State clarified: “Arcom can only really reject an application when it has definitively chosen to retain another and this definitive choice can only take place at the end of the negotiation of the agreement which must accompany the authorization of issue. Arcom can thus still choose, even after the publication of such a list, to end the negotiations initiated with one of the preselected candidates or to begin them with another candidate not included therein.

Yvan Le Bolloc'h is delighted with this news

This decision by the Council of State quickly sparked a reaction on the networks. Among those who spoke, there was the comedian Yvan Le Bolloc'h who spoke on X, formerly Twitter. After sharing an article relaying information from the Council of State, the actor commented: “To re-read when you're feeling down.”

This Monday, November 25, Cyril Hanouna reacted to this tweet.
There is Yvan Le Bolloc'h who posted on X that he was happy that the Council of State deemed C8's appeal against the loss of its frequency inadmissible. Yvan Le Bolloc'h will give him a bit of promotion, because we don't see him much. Except at the Insoumise congress, we don't see him too much, poor guy. He hasn't worked in twenty years. We kiss him anyway and we hope that he will quickly find work instead of tweeting, because it's true that It makes me feel bad for himhe said.

Yvan Le Bolloc'h never made Cyril Hanouna laugh

For her part, Valérie Bénaïm said: “He will tell that to the 400 people who will be unemployed.” What the host of TPMP replied: “He already finds work, poor guy, before thinking of others, because he tweets a lot.
When he finds work, he will tweet a lot less, because he hasn't worked in twenty years. This boy makes us a little sad. The last time I saw him was at a pétanque competition.”

As for Raymond, he recalled: “His son, he works at Canal+, right? Didn't his son start at Canal? He works in cinema, I think. It's a bit stupid to want the end of something where your son is almost in it.” Cyril Hanouna then concluded : “The truth is, I feel more sorry for Yvan Le Bolloc'h, I'm not going to shoot an ambulance. Poor guy, he's probably at home right now playing Puissance 4 or wondering if he will succeed in finding work. I'm not going to shoot an ambulance either. He never made me laugh. Even on Caméra Café, he never made me laugh. The only thing that makes me laugh is her hairstyle.
