Season 5 episodes will have lengths close to feature films

Fans of the series Stranger Things will be able to recover from their PLS: even if the fifth – and final – season of their favorite series is not expected on the small screen before mid-2025, revelations are coming from all sides, reports AlloCiné.

So, while she and her little comrades are still in the middle of filming the “finale”, Maya Hawke revealed to the PodCrushed podcast that “writing each season and shooting them takes a lot of time… like if we made eight films”.

Does this (really) mean that each episode of season 5 will be very long?

A precedent in season 4

AlloCiné already points out that the episodes of season 4 were already much longer than those of previous seasons: the last episode had, for example, a duration of 2h20, one of the longest episodes in the entire history of the series !

Another element of response came from actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who played the “villain” Vecna of Stranger Thingsand who, a few days ago, declared on another podcast: “If you found season 4 crazy, this one is out of control, furious, crazy. Everything is much bigger! It’s completely crazy.” To be continued, then…

Enticing titles…

In the meantime, American journalist Jeff Sneider has revealed the titles of the first six episodes of season 5. They are of course likely to be changed before their broadcast on Netflix.
