Linda Hardy was the guest of The Jordan De Luxe swimming poolthis Monday July 1, 2024. For the first meeting of the summer version of the C8 show, the former Miss France revealed a scoop by evoking her romance with Jean-Luc Delarue in the early 2000s. actress also looked back on her career in the media and in particular on the role of co-host alongside Thierry Ardissonin his famous Saturday evening program on France 2, Everybody talks about it. A period that was not necessarily easy, if we are to believe his story!

Linda Hardy first explained that she had been recruited by The Man in Black, after having been invited on the show, in order to promote her film Recto-Verso. “Catherine Barma called me to tell me that Thierry had loved me and that he would like to have me as a co-host, to replace Laurent Ruquier who was leaving“, an opportunity that cannot be refused, yet everything did not go as planned: “It’s a bit of a difficult period but during which I’ve learned a lot. I also learned what I wanted and what I didn’t want… I learned that if I made television, I didn’t want it to be just an image“, she assured, regretting the role of “potiche”, which she occupied despite herself in Everybody talks about it : “It’s true that it has always been very important that what appears from me is worthy of the efforts I make… I worked a lot on the guests, their journey, to offer something in this show, it was important for me to be up to the task. And in fact, what made it was not!” she said before analyzing: “No doubt there was a desire to have someone who was more of a foil.“

Linda Hardy never hid her disappointment from Thierry Ardisson: “He knows it, we’ve already talked about it, he knows my position on the subject. He taught me a lot of things about the profession, so it’s a good experience from that point of view.“, she summed up. The 75-year-old presenter even admitted that he had not acted in the best possible way: “He responded to me in a broadcast of Big heads thathe had behaved badly and he regretted it…” she concluded, visibly without resentment!
