On Instagram this Sunday, June 30, Laure (Married at First Sight) told her followers that she was recently pulled over for speeding. She got out without her driver’s license, car documents, or insurance… she considers herself lucky!
By participating in the show Married at first sight In 2021, Laure hoped that her life would change, but did not think that it would take such a turn. In Grans, in the south of France, she met Matthieu on their wedding day. And before her season was even broadcast on M6, the young woman fell pregnant with their first child. Out of love and for her family, she left the small Parisian apartment in which she lived alone to settle with her husband in Eure. It is therefore in the middle of the fields that Laure and Matthieu got to know each other, while raising their daughter Lya. At the beginning of the year, they announced that they were expanding the family with a second baby. And it is a little sister who will come to fill them with happiness in the coming days since the birth is imminent!

A few weeks ago, the couple left Eure to settle in a new house near Nancy. A sporty move that had to be done before the arrival of their second child. Now, the couple enjoys their swimming pool, while emptying their dozens of boxes. However, they take little breaks, especially to watch Euro 2024, especially for Matthieu. That evening, Laure says on Instagram that she had a different plan, but nothing really went as planned. “The last time, I got stopped by the police on the road by going to get a McDonald’s for Matthieu because he was watching the match”, she explains this Sunday, June 30. An arrest which took place for “speeding at the binoculars“. A stressful moment, especially since she had left with nothing: “I didn’t have the car papers. I gave them my ID card, and not even my license.“

Fortunately for the MAPR candidate, the agents were very “nice” with her. “They let me go“, she admits, “I think they took pity“. Being emotionally fragile because of the end of her pregnancy and her hormones, Laure released the pressure a few moments later: “I cried afterwards… I cried for nothing“.
