Nans and Mouts are back in Naked and cheeky – Objective: the forests of Morvanbroadcast this Monday July 1, 2024 at 9:05 p.m. on France 5. Responding to questions from Tele-Leisurethey notably revealed to us the behind the scenes of their show.
Nans Thomassey and Guillaume Tisserand-Mouton met in 2005 during a drunken integration evening at the National Institute of Applied Sciences in Toulouse. A friendship is then born. Three years later, their diplomas in hand, these travel lovers set off on their own around the world: the first with a friend, the second with his partner. Then they returned to France in 2010. The two men then shared their new ideas for adventure, this time in France. From one bid to another, they decide to leave without a sleeping bag, then without a backpack, without money, and finally… without clothes. Against the advice of those close to them who did not clearly see what these two trained engineers were getting into, Nans and Mouts embarked on this new experience in 2012. Naked and cheeky was born.
Where do Nans and Mouts go in this twelfth season of Naked and cheeky ?
Twelve years later, the duo is doing great. Season 11 ended in 2023 with a record audience (nearly 1.2 million viewers). A longevity that surprises the two globetrotters the most. “Every season, we think it’s the last. Naked and cheeky, it’s a fixed-term contract renewed every year. Every time we take a trip, we take it as the last of our lives. We don’t have not a careerist vision of our profession, it is a passion that we nourish as long as it is alive.”explained Nans during a round table attended by Tele-Leisure. For this twelfth salvo of Naked and Pantyhosed, the tandem first sets off towards the forests of Morvan, to meet the big bad wolf. They then head towards the Mediterranean with a Mystery Objective. Two 90-minute episodes with philosophical and poetic themes, giving pride of place to encounters that are as moving as they are full of meaning.

Each episode of Naked and cheeky begins in the same way. Nans and Mouts walk without clothes. But they quickly find charitable souls to offer them some. Without money, they travel with a red gingham printed bundle attached to the end of a stick (containing essentials: batteries, chargers for their cameras, a credit card and a mobile phone in case of emergency), and six cameras. “We started the show with two cameras on the backpack, and one handheld. Then came the GoPro, used in cars, underwater… Then came a drone, and finally an iPhone with a special lens for macro. (in other words, filming up close, editor’s note). We go from the little ant to drone images”summarized Nans. The two friends therefore capture the images themselves and let themselves be carried away by their encounters. But how much time do they take to prepare each episode? “Not long. The theme can be found in a few hours, the material comes together in just as little time”, revealed Mouts. Before specifying: “On the other hand, our job is to empty ourselves inside, make ourselves as available as possible, and open our hearts to welcome people as they are.”. And the adventurer concludes poetically: “Getting naked physically takes a few seconds, getting naked in the heart is another job. That of a lifetime”.
