On the occasion of the reissue of his album “Every second”, featuring four new unreleased songs, Pierre Garnier was the guest of “Culture Médias” this Friday, November 22, 2024 on Europe 1. And the show had the right to the call of a rather special listener: Michel Drucker. The host wanted to intervene by telephone to speak directly to the winner of season 11 of “Star Academy”.

The host of “Vivement Dimanche” did not hide his admiration for Pierre Garnier. “When you won the Star Ac’, I was very proud. Then, you did a gigantic tour and I know that you are going to do – because I know everything about you – the Accor Arena on December 9, 2025”he told her. He then made an unexpected proposal to Thomas Isle's guest. Michel Drucker has indeed expressed his wish to receive the winner of the “Star Academy 2023” in “Vivement Dimanche”. “Before the end of the season, I would like you to be a guest of honor on ‘Vivement Dimanche’. Not only will we talk about your album, your phenomenal and deserved success, but we will talk about you”he declared to Pierre Garnier who immediately replied: “With pleasure, of course!”.

This proposal from Michel Drucker also did not fail to provoke a reaction from the “Culture Médias” team. “There are some who have waited for forty years of their career to be invited to the red sofa (central element of ‘Vivement Dimanche’, editor’s note)”exclaimed Anissa Haddadi. The emblematic host of France Télévisions then confided that he dreamed of meeting Pierre Garnier “for a very long time”. “I was very proud when you obviously triumphed in this legendary show. I was proud as if I were a Sourdin (name of the inhabitants of Villedieu-les-Poêles, town in La Manche where Pierre Garnier is from, editor's note)”he said to the winner of the “Star Academy 2023”.
