Astrid and Raphaëlle returns to France 2 this Friday November 22 at 9:05 p.m. for a plot entitled The last of the Aztecs. The duo of investigators, played by Sara Mortensen et Lola Dewaris responsible for shedding light on the murder of a famous archaeologist in a macabre staging of an Aztec ritual. The two friends will discover an art trafficking network but also the actions of a Mexican cartel in pursuit of the mythical Eldorado. At the same time, Raphaëlle must manage the surprise arrival of her mother Patricia, played by Julie Arnold. The latter says more about Tele-Leisure.

Télé-Loisirs: How would you describe your character?
Julie Arnold : Patricia is a lawyer and lives in Patagonia. She's been gone for a while. She is fully fulfilled in her personal life. She is a loving mother but not present. However, when she learns that her daughter needs support, she comes back. Beneath her expansive exterior, deep down she is very sensitive.
How would you define his relationship with Raphaëlle?
It's a fiery relationship, Raphaëlle has a very reactive and lively character, just like her mother. They are both cash, if they don't like something, they say so. Patricia is not embarrassed and settles in with her daughter for longer than expected. It's not on purpose to annoy, she's just like that. She is nevertheless very friendly and human.
How was filming with Lola Dewaere?
I had never met Lola before, but I really liked her as an actress, her freedom, her fluidity, this strength that she has. It's a great pleasure to arrive in this series, and I hope that Patricia will return in the following season.
Julie Arnold : “I didn't realize the impact that Marc and Sophie“
For many viewers, you are also the heroine of the hit 1980s series Marc and Sophie. What memories do you have from this time?
Happiness and carefreeness: I didn't realize at all the impact this program would have. We got along very well with Gérard Rinaldi [alias Marc, ndlr]we also played in the theater together. When the series launched, I was very surprised by the extent of its success.
Looking back, do you regret that it didn't last longer?
No. But I regret that people don't think of me more for television projects. I would be totally up for playing a recurring character. I love touring, even if I love theater above all, where I am always offered great roles.
