Star Academy 2024
He knows the ruthless world of telecrochet! Former winner of “Nouvelle Star”, Julien Doré serves as “exceptional teacher” for the 2024 class of the “Star Academy”. After attending the muscular debrief of stage expression teacher Marlène Schaff after the last bonus, the singer returned on Wednesday to give a masterclass during which he did not hesitate to point out a nasty fault of Masséo, Charles, Marguerite and their little friends.
“I find that you are polluting your mind a little too much with something that you should not take into account at all: you are a little too aware of what you are doing here, at the Château“, he told them. “Already when you get up, until the moment you go to bed, I feel like it's floating in your head : 'what do people think of us?'. The worst part is that in moments of difficulty on certain songs, I have the impression that you also think about it when you are doing your thing live.”
I want you to tell me: “It’s mine, it’s my song!”
Julien Doré
In order to force the young candidates to let go, Julien Doré suggested that they engage in a little exercise. Accompanied by their godfather on the ukulele, they had to take turns interpreting “Ah! Les Crocodiles”, the children's rhyme that he covers on his album Impostor which has just been published. “I want you to tell me 'it's mine, it's my song. I'm defending him as crazy and I don't care what you think. Me, if I chose that one, it’s because I want it to be heard everywhere.”
