Valentin confides after the announcement of Flavie’s cancer

Flavie, lively candidate for Love is in the meadowwas diagnosed with cancer during the filming of the show, between the end of Valentin’s stay on the farm and the discovery of his family in , as we learned during the last episode broadcast Monday on M6.

“A week after I left Valentin’s farm, the surgeon called me to quickly make an appointment. I had been operated on for a tumor analyzed as benign before participating in the show,” she confided to Karine Le Marchand. “The tears flowed because I was far from imagining it. I found happiness a week before and I was told that. »

The day after the broadcast, it was the cow breeder based in Manche who spoke in West to evoke this ordeal.

“She was afraid to tell me”

“During the stay on the farm we got together, two weeks later we learned that she was ill. She told me one morning because she was coming back from her doctor’s office, as we are two hours apart. His doctor told him that the results were not good and that he needed treatment,” the young 26-year-old farmer told the daily. “I was on my tractor, she said to me: “Stop everything, I need to talk to you”. »

Valentin specifies that Flavie “was afraid to tell me because she was afraid that I would leave her, that was not the case”. The couple also benefited from the goodwill of the production. “They called every week to see how things were going. Anyway, if things didn’t go well, we stopped filming. The production was very attentive to this,” adds the breeder.

Love stronger

An ordeal which, however, seems to have sealed the couple. “I accompanied her until the end, she underwent chemo treatment. While she was off work, she was convalescing at home,” added Valentin.

And the result of the adventure, which will be broadcast on November 25, leaves little room for doubt, according to the photos shared by Flavie on Instagram, full of love despite the marks of the treatment.

“The last treatment stopped at the end of September and she returned to work at the beginning of October,” reassures the visibly in love farmer, who specifies that, even if there are still a few points to monitor, “she is doing well.” “Life is full of unforeseen events anyway, you have to deal with it,” he philosophizes.
