Two BFM channels authorized again on TNT after a change of ownership

BFM Alsace and BFM will soon be back on DTT, after having seen their authorization revoked when Altice Médias passed into the hands of CMA CGM.

The Altice Media group, which brings together the RMC and BFM channels, including the local ones, changed ownership last July, notably resulting in the repeal of the authorizations of two local channels, namely BFM Lyon Métropole and BFM Alsace on TNT. This repeal was made at the request of Altice , but Arcom has relaunched calls for applications for local services in the two areas concerned.

Thus, the audiovisual regulator interviewed this Wednesday, November 6, the representatives of the two companies for these two projects, then decided to pre-select them, to establish agreements with each of them. These conventions are the essential condition for broadcasting on DTT. TNT users will soon be able to find their local channel which has disappeared since the end of June, but the two channels continue to broadcast via the internet, they are notably available on Oqee.
