A first teaser for season 2 of “Arcane” has been revealed by Netflix. The animated series adapted from the “League of Legends” universe will return to the platform next November!
After almost three years of waiting, Netflix has finally revealed a first teaser for the second season of Arcane. While it had already been announced that the series will make its comeback next November, the platform today offers us new images of the program adapted from the world of the League of Legends video game.

But this teaser also hides very bad news for Arcane fans. It has in fact been confirmed by Netflix that the series will end in this second season, and that no season 3 will therefore see the light of day. A decision taken by the creators of the program, in order to respect the framework of the original scenario and the mythology of the characters.
No matter, since the Arcane universe will expand in the form of new films and new animated series also inspired by the League of Legends franchise. There is therefore good news behind this unexpected announcement of the end of Arcane after only two seasons.

Surprise hit of the year 2021 on Netflix, Arcane was produced by the animation studio Fortiche. The nine episodes of season 1 have created unprecedented enthusiasm on the platform, particularly due to the exceptional quality of their graphics.

The series has also entered the record books both for its staggering budget (nearly 80 million dollars invested) as well as for its number of awards won (never has an animated series been so rewarded in the past).
In a steampunk universe, two cities are in conflict: one – Piltover – represents wealth and modernity, while the other – Zaun – symbolizes poverty and crime. Implicated against their will in a conflict that goes beyond them, two sisters Jinx and Vi will take separate paths and by force of circumstances become mortal enemies.
