The Star Academy students noticed that the singing teacher, Sofia Morgavi, knew how to reframe them when necessary. One person actually paid the price this week, but it didn’t last.
It was Sofia Morgavi who took over from Adeline Tonuiti to give singing lessons to Star Academy students this year. Two rooms, two atmospheres. Indeed, if the two teachers have a fairly cool attitude and close to the students, Sofia Morgavi knows how to raise her voice when necessary, and does not hesitate to reframe her students.
Even if they are there to learn their passion, they must not forget that they are in a school. Certainly, a school that many dream of, but a school that requires adopting impeccable behavior, being guided, listening, and also knowing how to question oneself. With her atypical voice, the singing teacher knows how to bring her students back on the right path when they need it.
This nominee who was reframed by Sofia Morgavi
This Thursday, October 31, the school like no other was dressed in Halloween colors, and even Sofia Morgavi played the game by donning a Morticia Addams costume. Even if she wanted to take a deeper voice at the start of the lesson to fit with the theme, she very quickly found her natural voice, and spicy, sometimes.
Indeed, the teacher did not hesitate to reframe Maïa, who was saved by her classmates, while the young woman complained about the exercise to be done. : “I really can’t do it. I force the treble a little, it bothers me”she retorted. To which the teacher replied: “You ask yourself the questions with the answers my darling, we’re not going to make it. No, it’s not possible. There, you’re all alone in your head, I can’t help you. I want although you take it back but you calm down. You calm down! As if you were going to sleep, on the verge of fainting.”she explained with annoyance.
The little croppings at the Star Academy, never very bad
This is not the first time that the singing teacher has intervened to redirect her students, which is normal in a school. She had even been most accommodating after Franck was late for one of his classes, simply warning everyone that this was the last time anyone would arrive late.
This week, she did not hesitate to reboost Thomas, also named alongside Maïa, by getting annoyed but nevertheless with kindness:
“You’re at Star Ac’, you do bonuses with great artists, with a sick audience, you can’t be overwhelmed. You don’t have the permission to be overwhelmed, it’s not possible when we have this opportunity! You see, I get angry, I yell at you”, she told him. The teacher, however, made it clear to her students that : “He who loves well, punishes well.”
