Four months before its closure, the C8 channel once again creates controversy. But this time, it was raised by Cyril Hanouna in person, live on C8 in TPMP this Thursday October 31, 2024. “I have a rant against the channel, against C8“, he warned, facing his columnists.

Cyril Hanouna denounces a lie from C8 in TPMP

The host then told an anecdote dating from last Sunday, October 27. After making an unfortunate discovery, concerning a program of which he is the producer and host, Cyril Hanouna called the managers of the channel: “There was Facing Hanouna last week, in best-of Sunday, because there was the Formula 1 Grand Prix. And what did they do C8 ? And that pissed me off… They put ‘unreleased’ on Sunday. I called them and they told me: ‘Yeah but in fact, it’s new because we’ve never played this best-of’. I say: ‘But guys, who are we kidding here?’ We make fun of people’s faces. So I didn’t like seeing it ‘unpublished’ at all. I didn’t know! At one point, I want to see the release, just out of curiosity, and I see that it says ‘unpublished’! (…) For me, a new show is a show that we’ve never seen, it’s not a best-of! So I hope – I dare to hope – that tomorrow there will not be marked ‘unpublished’! You must put nothing or ‘best-of’. I hate it when people lie to viewers. I swear, it pissed me off this weekend!“.

Facing Hanouna back in a new release this weekend on C8

Cyril Hanouna took advantage of this update to announce that Touche pas à mon poste will not be live on this public holiday of Friday, November 1, because it would cost too much according to C8. “I still negotiated that we be there on November 11“, he added, before specifying that the two numbers of Facing Hanounabroadcast this Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3, will be new. The presenter even revealed the names of three guests: Patrick Sébastien, Benjamin Castaldi and Nelson Monfort.
