Did you like the feature film Divergent? So good news: the second part of the SF saga carried by Shailene Woodley and Theo James is broadcast this Monday evening on W9!

Released in theaters in 2015, the very successful Divergent 2: Insurrection immerses the viewer in a post-apocalyptic world where society has been reorganized around 5 factions. Tris (Shailene Woodley) uncovered a plot led by the dominant faction, the Scholars, led by Janine (Kate Winslet). Abandoning a city of fire and blood, in search of allies, Tris and Four (Theo James) are now being hunted down by the authorities.

More spectacular, darker and deeper than the first part, Divergent 2: Insurrection is a little nugget of science fiction. Intense, the feature film has a great asset in its pocket in the person of Shailene Woodley. “I was blown away by the mix of vulnerability, rebellion and arrogance she expressed in The Descendants. The cast of Divergent 2: Insurrection welcomes new characters and actors. We can thus discover on screen, among others, Octavia Spencer as Joanna, leader of the Fraternals, Naomi Watts as Evelyn, leader of the Sans-faction, and Daniel Dae Kim, seen in the series Lost.
