[VIDÉO] “The Sunday Handymen”: action, swearing and four women are in the competition

The first images of the series Sunday handymen: the competition start to circulate. We see a lot of action, we hear a few profanities during particularly difficult challenges and, fortunately, we see that a third of the cohort is female, which is very good news.

Hosted by Dave Morissette, the series features 12 participants who surpass themselves in a series of challenges related to renovation, construction and repair. While some are fun, others are downright extreme.

These Sunday handymen must be fast on their skates, ingenious and resourceful. The expert judge who keeps an eye on them throughout the workshop is Patrick Laperrière. The least efficient must compete week after week at the House of Misfortunes and try to avoid elimination. In the trailer released Tuesday, a woman describes her time in this very special home as “one of the worst experiences of [s]for life.”

The winning person at the end of the 10 half-hours will get their hands on a grand prize of $25,000, an amount accompanied by the title of “Best handyman in Quebec”. If a woman triumphs, it will of course be called “Best handywoman in Quebec”.

Produced by Zone 3, in collaboration with Quebecor Content, the show Sunday handymen: the competition will be broadcast on CASA starting Thursday, November 7, at 9 p.m.
