After several weeks of speculation and rumors following the release and success of the series My little reindeer, one of the true protagonists of the series has, it seems, decided to come out of the shadows. Fiona Harvey is suspected by fans of the series inspired by the true story of Richard Gadd, the screenwriter and main actor, of being his stalker. In the series, this attacker is named Martha and for several years harasses the main character, Donny, an aspiring actor met in the bar where he works. Richard Gadd explained that this story and this meeting really happened to him, although some elements were fictionalized for Netflix. Despite the actor’s requests not to seek to know the identity of the real protagonists, the name of Fiona Harvey began to circulate on social networks. She therefore decided to break the silence, this Thursday, May 9, in the British show Piers Morgan Uncensored. She refutes all the accusations made against her in the series and believes on the contrary that it is Richard Gadd who is to blame.

For Fiona Harvey, Richard Gadd (My little reindeer) is the one who has obsessive thoughts

The 58-year-old Scottish woman insists that My little reindeer East “a work of fiction and hyperbole”. “The only things that are true are that his name is Richard Gadd, that he worked in a bar and that we met two or three times.”, she says. She therefore believes that writing an entire series on the supposed harassment that she would have put the actor and screenwriter through is proof that he “has psychiatric problems”. Asked by Piers Morgan about her first meeting with Richard Gadd, Fiona Harvey says it didn’t happen like it did in the series – Martha walks into the bar, alone and sad, and Donny, compassionate, offers her a drink. “I came once, had a lemonade and something to eat because I was hungry – I’m diabetic. He saw that I was Scottish, like him, and he seemed obsessed with me from then on.”

If we are to believe the words of Fiona Harvey, Richard Gadd would have invented everything. Or almost. She admits to having met him a few times, always in this bar, and to having sent him “a handful of emails”. A far cry from the 41,000 emails and 106 letters Richard Gadd talks about. “I don’t know who sent him all this! I think he probably made it all up,” believes the woman. She also claims to have never accepted free drinks from the actor. Fiona Harvey, however, recognizes a surprising detail: she is in fact the owner of a toy in the shape of a small reindeer and has compared him to Richard Gadd, “jokingly”during their meetings.
