In “Here it all begins”, the French Cuisine Cup will begin in Brittany. There, Kelly and Laetitia’s past will come to the surface and the latter’s lies will be exposed…
At the end of March 2024, AlloCiné had the opportunity to go to the filming of Here Everything Begins (broadcast Monday to Friday from 6:30 p.m. on TF1), in Saint-Malo in Brittany. For the purposes of an exceptional intrigue around the Coupe de France de cuisine, a good part of the teams from the series traveled from the South.
Axelle Dodier, who plays the role of Kelly, made some revelations to our microphone about what awaits her character and Laetitia (Florence Coste). Once there, the mother and daughter will indeed be confronted with their past… Kelly will also quickly realize that her darling mother was not completely honest with her when they left here !
Finally, Lionel’s girlfriend (Lucien Belves) will find herself facing her worst enemy: the chef Lenglart!
AlloCiné: What awaits Kelly and Laetitia in Brittany in “Here it all begins”?
Axelle Dodier: In this arch, under the decor of the Coupe de France, we will realize that Kelly and Laetitia have already lived in the past where the competition takes place. We are going to retrace their steps from before the Institute and learn more… They fled part of their past and are confronted with it today. Why did they leave Brittany? Why did they come to the South? And mix in all that, obviously, all the intrigue of the Coupe de France and other intrigues…
Were any secrets hidden from Kelly by Laetitia at the time?
Kelly will be faced with her mother’s lies. We will understand that there are lots of things left unsaid and things that have not been revealed… It will be very complicated for her knowing that she also has to manage her brigade for the Coupe de France. It’s going to be hectic for Kelly but she’s strong after everything she’s been through!
How will Kelly’s reunion with chef Lenglart go (Victoria Monfort) ?
They are happening as their relationship happened: that is to say not great (laughs) In any case, Kelly is not going to let herself be discouraged… she has the ambition, in any case! She wants to carry out her mission of participating in the Coupe de France. Will she win or not? I can’t tell you but Lenglart is going to be quite an obstacle.
Did you enjoy this shoot in Brittany, far from the castle?
Brittany is the place where ITC is most followed in France! It’s crazy. I find it so beautiful, symbolically too, that we are highlighting this region. It’s crazy that we come here and can meet people without knowing at the start that they are the ones who follow us the most. It’s all so pretty.
How do you feel about “Here it all begins”?
In three and a half years, we become very attached to the people we work with. It becomes a family, it’s a daily life (…) To talk about Kelly’s character, we have to see how he evolves. It’s a discussion to have with production but I’m not closed to Kelly staying again.
