The Max platform will arrive in France on June 11, integrating CANAL+ offers thanks to a distribution agreement signed between the CANAL+ group and Warner Bros Discovery. What is notable is that former subscribers to certain CANAL+ offers will also have access to Max at no additional cost.
This streaming service will be included from its launch in certain CANAL+ offers, both for new subscribers and for those who are already registered, at no additional cost. However, not all subscribers will automatically benefit from this free benefit. To access Max for free, you will need to be subscribed to one of the specific CANAL+ offers, such as CANAL+ Ciné Séries, Friends & Family, Intégrale or Rat+ Ciné Séries.
Access directly from myCanal
In other cases, access to Max will be available as a paid option for CANAL+ subscribers, at the usual rates. The agreement between CANAL+ and Warner Bros Discovery goes beyond previous agreements, because Max’s content can be viewed directly via myCANAL or in the CANAL+ universe of the encrypted channel’s operators and decoders.
In addition, subscribers to the mentioned offers will also have access to the 10 thematic channels of Warner Bros Discovery, thus enriching their entertainment experience. Furthermore, in addition to this agreement, the two groups previously signed another agreement, allowing CANAL+ to be the only broadcaster in France to offer Warner Bros. Pictures films only six months after their release in theaters.
