Whether they deal with literature, poetry or short stories, dissect social issues and offer new avenues for reflection, whether they focus on the visual arts or cinema, cultural magazines beautify our daily lives.
For thirteen years, the Society for the Development of Quebec Cultural Periodicals (SODEP) has honored local cultural magazines through the various prizes of excellence it awards them. It thus underlines their undeniable contribution to the all-round landscape of Quebec creativity, allowing in particular emerging and seasoned authors to express themselves other than through books. Cultural journals expand artistic diversity, offer new angles of reflection and open dialogue. SODEP rewards the hard work of the editorial committees, as well as that of the collaborators who manage files.
