Julien Arnaud caught a wind from Charlotte Le Bon this Monday, October 7. While he paid the director a compliment, the latter did not really appreciate it.

On October 7, Julien Arnaud and Flavie Flament hosted Télématin with Charlotte Le Bon as the main guest.

A remark about Charlotte Le Bon’s Canadian accent sparked an embarrassed reaction and an apology from Julien Arnaud.

Flavie Flament came to the aid of her colleague, thus alleviating the embarrassment which was very present.

Julien Arnaud and Flavie Flament hosted a new issue of the show Telematin this Monday, October 7. Among the guests, there was Charlotte Le Bon, actress and director starring in the film Niki. During the interview, the journalist pointed out to her that she had a slight accent when she spoke. “You’re Canadian, right?” he asked first. The main person concerned confirmed the information and this made Julien Arnaud react. “Because we can hear it a little, it’s very cute”, he declared, facing a slightly embarrassed guest.

Charlotte Le Bon immediately reacted, simply stating: “Very good, I’m very glad you find it cute.” His response was barely heard since Flavie Flament immediately called his companion to order. “But are you in love or something this morning?”, she asked before adding: “But look at him and listen to him.” For his part, Julien Arnaud tried to defend himself by declaring: “It’s true, it’s charming.” Enough to make Charlotte Le Bon react, who explains: “We, sometimes Quebecers, find it a little condescending when we are told that we find it cute.”

Julien Arnaud: a very embarrassed host

Faced with his guest’s explanation, Julien Arnaud quickly apologized. “Oh sorry, sorry, that wasn’t the goal at all”. The journalist was then defended by Flavie Flament who added: “No, but it’s because he’s under the spell.” In order to put an end to this very embarrassing sequence, Charlotte Le Bon did not hesitate to accept Julien Arnaud’s apologies. “If you are under the spell, there is no problem”she declared before adding: “Plus it’s raining this weekend so if people want to go see the film and hear my accent, that’s really great.” A moment that could have turned into tragedy.

This is not the first time that Julien Arnaud has been the victim of a somewhat embarrassing sequence. A few days ago, Philippe Collignon was present on the set during the Chronicle of Immanquables. By his side was his “love, baby”, his little sausage dog. A dwarf dachshund that he is incredibly fond of. “Already question: who has an animal here?” he asked the columnists. Only Flavie Flament and Julien Arnaud indicated that they did not have one, which made the host react. “It’s my pet,” she said while stroking Julien Arnaud’s arm, very embarrassed and amused.

Julien Arnaud and Flavie Flament: a duo who appreciate this collaboration

Julien Arnaud and Flavie Flament took over from Thomas Sotto and Marie Portolano. A duo on screen as in life. In the columns of Tele-Leisure A few days ago, the two hosts confided about this collaboration. “We looked for each other during the first show, which is normal, but then we noticed a progression over the week. It’s a real relief. We are happy with ourselves,” began Julien Arnaud. Comments also made by Flavie Flament who confides: “I’ve been waiting to start for two and a half months!”

The couple of hosts are aware that it takes time for viewers to get used to their presence and they have no problem with that. “Everyone tells us it feels like we’ve been on the show for a long time, it’s crazy!” says Flavie Flament, delighted with this experience. Same story with Julien Arnaud who is delighted to work as a team “caring, kind, open… She is teeming with intelligence and creativity. The good atmosphere that reigns on the set is sincere”. A very unexpected duo but which seems to be unanimously appreciated by viewers.
