Owl: Saturday October 5 3 offers Murders in Arboisa new episode of its successful detective collection. Good or bad vintage, TéléLoisirs gives you its opinion.

Good news for fans of French fiction and thrillers in particular: after Murders in (our opinion) and Murders in (our opinion), France 3 is offering this Saturday, October 5 Murders in Arbois, a new new episode of its successful collection launched in 2013 with Murders in Saint-Malo. And unsurprisingly, it is always a question of a French region, of a tandem of investigators who must elucidate murders linked to legends or in reference to historical or cultural heritage. Head to Arbois, in the Jura, the heart of Louis Pasteur…

Murders in Arbois : What is the new episode with Sophie de Fürst and Samir Boitard, broadcast this Saturday, October 5, 2024, about?

Welcome to Arbois (Jura), the adopted town of Louis Pasteur whose house, preserved as it is, has become an essential tourist destination. Unluckily, that day’s guided tour is interrupted by a macabre discovery: that of the body of a man, dead of… rabies! A disease that has been eradicated for a long time! Worse, the virus was directly inoculated into the victim. Branle-bas-de-combat, the prosecutor dispatches her substitute, Julie Dorléac, to the scene to investigate with Hugo Villermoz, a former GIGN who became captain of the gendarmerie after the death of his wife. Added to this mysterious affair is the personal history of this duo, known only to one of them. A carefully kept secret about to explode.

Murders in Arbois: should you watch the new episode with Sophie de Fürst and Samir Boitard broadcast this Saturday October 5, 2024? Our opinion

If the France 3 collection is uneven, the latest Murders in… offered since the start of the school year are good vintages. This one is part of the same continuity with a well-crafted detective plot which also offers a personal story as strong as it is touching. The ensemble relies on a solid cast, starting with Sophie de Fürst and Samir Boitard. They are surrounded by actors in tune: Lionnel Astier – recently seen in Murders in Montauban – as a general practitioner and forensic pathologist, Charlotte Gaccio, whose character brings humor and fantasy, Charlotte des Georges (seen in fire We’re going to love each other a little, a lot…), Clement Aubert (Face to face), Lucie Fagedet (recently seen in Follow) and Etienne Dialo (who succeeded Soufiane Guerrab in Caesar Wagner). Actors whose mere presence is often a guarantee of good times. To conclude, if you like fiction, this collection and the proposed casting, then go for it, you won’t regret it!
