Alain is under the spell of a Sétoise woman

At the Spoon, Mona apologizes to Joel for slapping him the other day. She explains to him that she thought it might be a good idea so that George wouldn’t suspect anything about them. At that moment, Alain Lehaut joins them and apologizes to Mona for having informed Joël the other time that she had hit on him. Mona also recognizes that she shouldn’t have called him a poor guy in front of Doctor Delcourt the other day. She then offers Alain a coffee so that they can get off to a good start. A little later, Marianne goes to Spoon for lunch and meets Alain. He invites her to his table. Marianne declines, explaining that she must take advantage of her break to work. After Alain leaves, Mona goes to see Marianne. She points out that Alain never took his eyes off her when they talked. She has the impression that Alain has fallen for her charm. Marianne replies that she is not interested in him or any other man.

At the end of the day, Alain has an aperitif with François and Soizic. He tells them that he likes Sète. But that’s not all. Alain takes advantage of this moment with his son and Soizic to admit to having fallen under the spell of Marianne. He finds her lively, intelligent, sparkling. Alain explains to them that he met her when she helped him decipher his analyzes the other day at the hospital. Soizic is surprised, because Marianne is not generally a helpful person. Then, she warns Alain: Marianne is going through difficult mourning after the tragic death of her husband. She is not sure that she is ready to meet new people and offers to find out.

Victor released from prison

Victor is free. As he leaves the penitentiary center, he sees Timothée waiting for him. Happy, he takes him in his arms. But Timothée explains to his father that even if they have reconciled, he wishes to continue his path towards emancipation and continue to live together with Bart. This independence does him good. Victor shows understanding and tells his son that he will always be there for him. Then, he makes sure that Timothée gets along well with Bart. Timothée confirms this and adds that they are becoming friends.

Philippine has obtained a meeting with Charles and asks him why he accused himself in her place. Charles explains that he was too afraid that she would be arrested by the police. He couldn’t have stood knowing she was in prison. He adds that he also did it to preserve family harmony and above all because Violette needs her more than him. Then, Charles declares to his mother that he deserves to be there, because he has not forgotten the two people who are no longer there because of him. Philippine assures her son that she is not going to give up. She is determined to find him the best lawyer in town to get him out of there.

What is Romy hiding from Rayane?

It’s a big day for Rayane. He turns 18 today and becomes an adult. Romy should be happy for him, but she is stressed. They have an appointment with the notary, an appointment imposed by Malik during his lifetime. Karim tries to reassure her by telling her that his brother has surely left important things to Rayane. Romy wonders why Malik waited until their son was 18 to give him his things. She fears that it is linked to the letter, because Malik has always been jealous of the relationship she has with Rayane. He even tried to separate them while he was alive. Romy adds that even if he is no longer there, Malik can still cause them problems. Karim tries to reassure her by emphasizing the strong bond she has with her son. Romy then tells him that she is relieved that he intercepted the letter, because she doesn’t dare think about what would have happened if Rayane had read it.

Romy then joins Rayane. When leaving the notary office, Rayane carries a large bag. He doesn’t know what’s in it. Rayane asks her mother if Malik said anything to her about this, but that is not the case. Romy explains to her son that Malik had made his will a year before his death and at that time they no longer spoke much. She then tells Rayane how proud she is of him. They head towards the Little Spoon, unaware that they are being followed. Jack joins them to have lunch with them. Rayane opens the bag. It contains a leather jacket, a signet ring, Malik’s wedding suit and a CD. Rayane places the bag next to him. Suddenly, an individual wearing a surgical mask appears to grab the bag. Jack tries to stop him. The individual pushes him violently. Jack falls to the ground, unconscious. And the individual fled with the bag. A little later, at the hospital, Karim questions Rayane and Romy about what happened. Rayane then goes to Jack’s bedside. The latter reassures him. Although he had a few stitches in his head, he feels fine.

At the police station, Georges informs Karim that he used the video surveillance images. This is how he discovered that the individual who stole Malik’s things had followed Romy and Rayane from the notary office. But he lost track of her when he ran away from the Little Spoon.

Later, Karim finds Romy at the Spoon and informs her that the individual who stole the bag had followed her and Rayane from the notary’s office. He then puts forward the hypothesis that the CD could contain information on foreign accounts. According to him, Malik could have hidden part of the funds resulting from his illegal activities and transmitted the identifiers of his accounts abroad to Rayane without arousing suspicion. Karim then assures Romy that he will do everything possible to find this individual.

Meanwhile, Jack and Rayane are at Karim’s house. Rayane is not in good spirits and confides in her boyfriend. Even though his relationship with Malik was difficult, he still remained his father. He adds that he would have liked to give Malik’s signet ring to his son one day. While trying to put a piece of paper in the trash, Rayane discovers in the trash the pieces of the letter that her father had written to her. With Jack’s help, he gathers them together and reads the letter aloud. : “I know that I have not always been an exemplary father, but I have always been a man of his word who has values, you know that and courage is one of them, including in the face of the truth. You must know something important. Your mother is not who you think. She lied to you all her life.”
