Tuesday May 7 in Tomorrow Belongs to Us…

Bénédicte covers her family

At the police station, Martin advises Nordine to go back and see Manon at the hospital so that she avoids thinking that he doesn’t care. At the same time, the police were informed of a new burglary. The criminal is none other than Étienne, who nevertheless manages to escape the police with his loot, aboard a black sedan.

At the hospital, Noor admits to Victoire and Aaron that she feels hurt by William’s accusations against her. Indeed, the latter accused him of having administered barbiturates by mistake to Bénédicte. However, everyone now knows that there was no medical error and that the police suspect Luna of having provided it to Bénédicte. Shortly after, Victoire and Aaron are urgently called to the room of Esther Malbec, who is suffering from meningitis and is in the middle of a seizure. Faced with her husband’s concern, the surgeon declares that the next few days will be decisive.

At the police station, Damien confirms to Martin and Nordine that the burglary which took place a little earlier was carried out with the same operating procedure as the two other burglaries which occurred a few days ago: use of liquid nitrogen and no fingerprints on site. . For her part, Roxane examines the neighborhood’s video surveillance cameras and finds the black sedan whose license plate she begins to identify.

At the hospital, William goes to Bénédicte’s bedside to question her about what happened. While she perfectly remembers Luna’s visit to her room, who came to discreetly give her barbiturates, Bénédicte claims to have stolen some from Noor’s cart when Victoire came to take her constants in order to commit suicide out of despair at the idea of return to prison. Faced with her brother’s concern, however, Bénédicte promises not to do it again.

Later, while he is expected in the operating room, William receives a call from his wife who has arrived at the hospital to see their daughter. William repeats to her what Bénédicte told him, feeling guilty for not having seen her distress sooner. Aurore sympathizes, emphasizing that her sister-in-law’s confession exonerates Étienne, whom the police suspected of being behind it all. After hanging up, Aurore goes to the hospital hall where she finds her daughter who has agreed to use the wheelchair.

Meanwhile, William calls Étienne to tell him that Bénédicte will be able to leave the hospital the next day. Once he hangs up, Étienne changes his phone to call Dorian and warn him: they will have to put their escape plan into action…

Soizic digests disappointment badly

In the break room, Soizic tells Noor that she caught him the day before while cooing with Bart. The nurse then plays into her colleague’s game by making her believe that she has been going out with the owner of the Spoon for a few weeks.

After taking his lunch break there, Soizic gets a takeaway coffee for Noor, asking Bart about her. She quickly realizes that the young woman lied to her.

Back at the hospital, Soizic confronts Noor about her lie. She admits that she didn’t want to break her madness since she was convinced that she was going out with someone. This makes Soizic realize that she needs to stop making assumptions that don’t hold water. Noor understands that she is referring to her dashed hopes that Francis will propose to her again.

On returning home, Soizic finds François who is in the middle of preparations for their romantic trip. Seeing his companion’s sad expression, he questions her. Soizic confides to him that she had imagined a wedding ceremony on the beach.

François apologizes to him: they thought they thought the same thing about marriage. For him, the most important thing is that they love each other. Even if Soizic agrees with him, she cannot reason with herself. François promises her a trip that she will remember for the rest of her life.

Jessica returns to Paris

After meeting Bruno, whom her parents have decided to take in, Jessica goes to the police station. After hesitating to denounce Charles, Jessica gives up. She simply announces to her friend that she is going back to Paris today and that she has separated from Charles who prefers to stay in Sète with Violette.

On the way back, Jessica runs into Charles who tries to explain to her that he had no choice but to steal her kitty because of the pressure his former partner put on him. But Jessica doesn’t want to hear anything: she no longer trusts him. Before letting her go, Charles wants to know if she will report him to the police. Jessica assures him that she won’t say anything. She just wants to forget him and move on.

Once at her parents’ house, Jessica informs them that she is going to return to Paris where a pop-up store has contacted her to work there for three months. She adds that she separated from Charles because they didn’t have the same desires. A little later, Sylvain accompanies Jessica to the station, then says goodbye to her before she takes her train to Paris.
