In the last episode, Michaël and Audrey were going through a period of tension during their honeymoon, the young man was also questioning their marriage. Between regrets, disappointments and hopes of friendship, what will be the future of their relationship?
During their last dinner alone in the Canary Islands, Audrey and Michaël want to talk one last time about the causes of their breakup. Indeed, the forty-year-olds decided to put an end to their love story, because Michaël felt no attachment to Audrey.
“Clearly, our characters are something that has also been on my mind for a few days”, admits Michaël. He adds : “A relationship is built, but fundamentally, the connection is still important. And it’s something that I didn’t necessarily feel with you”. For her part, Audrey explains that since the start of their relationship, he has always behaved like a friend and has never been seductive.
It’s a fail
During this last dinner, they decided to remove their wedding ring. “Taking off this ring after two weeks is a failure. I’m disappointed, for sure, it’s hard, but I remain worthy”confides Audrey.
Despite mixed feelings, Michaël raises the possibility that they will remain friends: “Me, Audrey, I have absolutely nothing against her. I like her, she’s nice. I don’t want to ruin that either.”.
However, doubts persist about the feasibility of this friendship while the wounds of separation are still raw. “I’m not at all sure that it’s possible because Audrey, she could have been hurt by Michaël and obviously, you don’t want to be around someone who could hurt you again”explains sexologist, Catherine Solano.
Audrey and Michaël, will they really manage to develop a friendly relationship? Will Audrey be able to overcome her disappointment? Only time will tell.
