Fifteen candidates entered the house of secrets on the night of April 23 to 24 on TF1 for the launch of the twelfth season of ” Secret Story “ . Fifteen, or almost. Justine Aucello26-year-old Messina, was surprised to give up his place at the last moment to Anaïs Munoz. Prepared in the same way, the 25-year-old actress from Marseille spent a few hours in the game posing as the candidate to other residents.

During the first night, while everyone was asleep, Anaïs and Justine exchanged places, the latter having to defend the secret: “I got into the game on the second day”. As soon as she woke up, Lorraine was immediately stared at by the other candidates of “Secret Story” with this question remaining unanswered: but where did the Justine from the beginning go?

LE FIGARO. – How did you find yourself in this “Secret Story” adventure?
Anaïs MUNOZ. – I responded to a comedy casting ad, being convinced that it was for a role in a TF1 series. When I arrived, I remember being surprised not to have any text to rehearse, even though it can happen when only doing improvisation. But I was far from imagining that it was for “Secret Story”. When I found out, everything went very well, I got along very well with the casting director.

How was your mission presented to you?
I was really there to play a role, to pretend to be a “Secret Story” candidate for an evening with minimal information about her. It was more of a meeting than a casting, they needed to see if I corresponded at least to Justine’s level of resemblance and personality.

Why did you accept this challenge?
At 18, I almost participated in “Marseillais vs. The rest of the world” but it was another girl who was chosen during the last stage of casting. My family was pushing me a little to do reality TV and it was an experience that I wanted to live once in my life. Participating in “Secret Story” while maintaining my status as an actress was perfect. It’s a great spotlight and the opportunity to make myself known as an artist.

Did you have the impression of performing as an actress or of being the everyday Anaïs?
A bit of both. When I entered the house of secrets, I had to introduce myself as Justine, in my head I was no longer Anaïs. But naturally, as the evening progressed, I remained in my role while bringing a little of my personality. The other candidates were able to perceive someone as discreet and generous at the same time.

What was your strategy to succeed in your intrusion before giving up your place to Justine?
With Justine, we didn’t have time to refine things, we only spoke for a few seconds. I worked by feeling. What struck the other candidates was my resemblance to Cassandra. They thought we were sisters. I especially tried to control my Marseille accent. I was pleasantly surprised that no one noticed. The only one who spoke to me about my voice was Zoé who told me at the end of the evening that she loved my accent. But without locating it.

What did you think of Justine’s first moments in the house of secrets?
It was difficult for her to find herself, first thing in the morning, with all the residents focused on her. I found that she did very well and that she had a lot of wit in front of the others. I’m really happy to see that time passes and that his secret is still a mystery. I hope she goes super far in the game.

Was it complicated to slip away during the night to give Justine your place?
I was afraid to fall asleep! (Laughs.) I struggled not to close my eyes and, after waiting 30 minutes to make sure everyone was asleep, I left my bed to go to the confessional.

Was it a strategy not to remove your makeup before bed?
Yes, we had done the same makeup to reduce the differences between our two looks. But the girls insisted before going to sleep that I take off my makeup so I had to do it a little. I took advantage of Perrine’s hooded blanket to do so while keeping my face covered as much as possible.

Anaïs Munoz

What is your personal background?
I was not predestined to become an actress. I did graduate studies in biology to work in medical research. I did two internships over two years at the CNRS which I both loved, because it had been a desire for a long time, and hated, because this job did not fit with my character. Following this, I started modeling in parallel with work-study management studies at Mauboussin. Coming back from a summer season in Ibiza, I responded to a casting ad for a shoot in Marseille. It was a revelation, I understood that comedy was made for me.

What are your main professional experiences to date?
My career is still very young. I have shot several commercials, notably for Garnier, I am one of the faces of the brand all over the world except in Asia. I made an appearance in a reality TV series that will soon be coming to Prime Video. And I filmed last summer in The mysteries of love, alongside Benoît Dubois, which is broadcast on TMC. And I have a lot of things happening, I feel very lucky.

In modeling, you posed for the Olympique de Marseille catalog with the official Puma jersey…
It’s a great experience that dates back to last summer. I was photographed wearing the home and away jersey with a sea and mountain theme. It’s a pride for a Marseillaise to experience this, I was displayed in the OM store for more than six months. My family was delighted!

Do you feel a “Secret Story” effect?
I don’t know if it’s related but since I had this experience, everything has happened very quickly. I have a series of contracts in advertising as well as in cinema, I have a series of castings. It’s truly exceptional. I am very grateful to the production for having had the chance to experience this.
