Because travel stories make us dream and words have the power to transcend horizons, author Samuel Larochelle invites us to set sail with Le Cabaret des globe-trotters.

Drawing on his experiences with Cabarets Accents Queers and Sexxxu, Samuel Larochelle is launching this project that makes you want to fly away. He shares the floor with authors to evoke funny stories, juicy anecdotes and incredible or overwhelming adventures, all experienced at the rhythm of the journey. Thus, the comedian and great traveler Yves P. Pelletier, the multi-awarded Michel Jean, the journalists Andrée-Anne Brunet, Hugo Meunier and Ariane Arpin-Delorme, the globe-trotting cyclist Jonathan B. Roy, the screenwriter and humorist will appear on stage Emilie Ouellette and Marie Demers, author and professor.

These traveling souls will offer the public readings, stories and chronicles, humor and opinion texts. An evening rich in possibilities, therefore, which will pay homage to the literature which takes us elsewhere.

This new literary show will take place on May 9 and 10, at the Cabaret Lion d’Or, in Montreal. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
