“Here it all begins” Summary in advance of the episode of May 6, 2024
Is Tom ready to forget Billie?
Tom can’t forget Billie and his friends are well aware of this. To move on, David and Enzo advise him to have an intimate relationship with another woman. Aware that his friend will not take the first step, David takes matters into his own hands. He asks his phone number to a student who doesn’t take her eyes off Tom. Once the number is in his pocket, he gives it to Tom. Will he contact the young woman?
Later that day, Tom informs David and Enzo that he finally agreed to a date with the young woman. But Billie appears and hears the conversation. Tom apologizes to her, telling her that he didn’t mean to upset her, but Billie doesn’t seem hurt by the fact that her ex-boyfriend is seeing another girl.
At the end of the day, David and Enzo unexpectedly go to Tom’s room. Against all expectations, the latter is at the bottom of his bed. The two boys ask their friend if the date story was a lie. Tom replies that he sent the message to their young wife, but that he did not want to go through with it. Disappointed, David takes a look at Tom’s computer and discovers that Tom was watching a medical series. Tom tells his friends about the synopsis in broad terms, and David seems interested. The two friends decide to watch the rest of the episode.
Claire takes revenge on the students
In the morning, Olivia asks Clotilde if things have improved a little with Cardone, but chef Armand is not convinced. They both find themselves facing Claire. Furious, Clotilde tells Chef Guinot that she knows about the deal she made with Annabelle Cardone to bring back her son, Louis. Clotilde exclaims: “If I had known, I would not have voted for her”, then leaves. For her part, Chef Listrac defends Clotilde, but still wishes her ex-partner a happy birthday. Claire is alone against everyone.
Arriving at Chef Guinot’s class, Vic discovers that all the students have plastered Louis’ face on the worktops and walls with written below: “The murderer soon to return?” “. Vic is against this relentlessness. She said to Souleymane: “ I understand that Claire is trying to fight to get him out of prison.” Suddenly, Claire arrives and discovers her son’s face all over the room. She asks students to remove this immediately: “ You are in a cooking school here, everyone get to your work plans”. Then, she asks them to prepare a dish in less than two hours. This will be noted.
At the end of the class, Claire tastes the students’ dishes. She tells Souleymane that he completely missed it and that his dish is only worth 10/20. For his part, Vic is also violently criticized by the boss. It gets a bad score of 8/20. No student is spared from the virulent criticism of chef Guinot. Vic is very anxious, she is aware that this grade will unfortunately lower her overall average.
Will Teyssier participate in the Coupe de France de Cuisine?
Clotilde is mad with anger at Cardone. And for good reason, she decided to oppose Kelly’s brigade without informing the two Armand sisters. In her defense, Cardone states that she is not convinced by Kelly’s choice, but that she has not yet chosen which brigade would replace her. She asks Zacharie to guide her choice, but the latter responds: “If Kelly leaves, I leave.” The new director asks Zacharie to speak to her in private. What will she tell him?
Kelly and Malik are in shock after Cardone’s announcement about their kitchen brigade. Lionel tells his friends that they must not admit defeat and that Chef Delobel, who is the president of the Coupe de France jury, can perhaps help them. He asks his girlfriend to shout out loud that she deserves her place in the Coupe de France de Cuisine, and Kelly responds:
“Okay, I’ll call Delobel.”
A few minutes later, Kelly informs Salomé and Lionel that Delobel agrees that Chef Cardone is going too far, but unfortunately he can’t do anything to stop her. However, he taught him that Chief Landiras could not be fired. Kelly finds hope again! Suddenly, Salomé receives a message on her phone: Cardone summons all the students to the amphitheater for an announcement. What is it about ?
Two hours later, all the students meet at the amphitheater. Cardone and Zacharie arrive. The new director informs them that Kelly’s brigade does not have the level for the Coupe de France de Cuisine and that she has therefore decided to replace her. She asks Zacharie to speak. With a fragile and unconvincing voice, he declares that he has decided to train the new brigade. The students are dejected by this decision. At the end of the meeting, Zacharie informs Kelly and Lætitia that Annabelle Cardone threatened to fire him if he did not coach the new brigade. He tries to cheer Kelly up, but the young woman’s morale is at its lowest.
Cardone calls Jasmine into his office. She tells him :
“You have ambition and you are not afraid of challenges”, then offers to take Kelly’s job. Jasmine is confused. Against all odds, Marc defends Cardone and tells the young woman that this is a golden opportunity. But Jasmine does not want to betray her friend and responds straight away that she will not participate in the Coupe de France de Cuisine as brigade chef. Once her date is over, Jasmine runs to tell her boyfriend, Jim. But just like his father, Jim tells Jasmine that it would be a shame to refuse such an offer. So, will she agree to replace Kelly?
At the end of the day, Kelly’s morale is always at its lowest. Lionel informs him that the brigade from the southwest region is withdrawing following an accident involving one of the members of the brigade. Suddenly, Salomé has an idea: she links the rules of the Coupe de France de Cuisine and discovers that a former winner of a region can present himself in the event of a team withdrawing, and that he can present a brigade whose he will be the coach. Lionel, Kelly and Salomé look at the list of former winners from the southwest region and their eyes fall on the same person: Emmanuel Teyssier.
