Created in 2022, in association with the literary site La Griffe, the Scottish Rencontres literary prize recognizes a work published between 1er April of the previous year and March 31 of the current year.

These works can be novels, essays, documents or biographies whose subject is linked to esotericism, spirituality, philosophy or Freemasonry. Prize-winning works cannot be digital or self-published works. The first two winners were Frédéric Lenoir (Jung, a journey towards oneselfAlbin Michel) in 2022 and Françoise Schwab (Vladimir JankélévitchAlbin Michel) in 2023.

The jury is made up of leaders of French and foreign Masonic associations, partners of the Scottish Meetings. It is sponsored this year by Françoise Schwab, winner of the 2023 edition for her work devoted to Vladimir Jankélévitch, the irresistible charm of je ne sais quoi (Albin Michel).

The Scottish Meetings bring together a group of speakers each year for two days on a theme linked to spirituality, esotericism or Freemasonry. For its 2024 edition (October 5 and 6 in Angers), the chosen theme is: “Saying and living the Idea”.
