This Saturday, reading enthusiasts will have something to quench their thirst. The association WITH (Friends of the old church of Caumont) organizes the third edition of its book fair.
The concept is simple, you have to come with an empty bag. It will then be possible to fill it with books found among the many titles offered. Once the bag is fully loaded, you will have to pay the sum of 5 euros to take away your loot.
The books that will be offered come from donations and the amount collected, at each of these events, is used for the maintenance and renovation of the church, in particular the repair of its stained glass windows.
The event will take place in the old church of Caumontwhich after eight centuries dedicated to religious ceremonies, has found a second life with the cultural events it hosts.
The aim of the event is also to highlight the monument and make it known to the local population. The doors of the building will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
