EXCLUDED Mégane (Koh-Lanta 2024) completely fooled by the council: “Léa clearly lacks honesty!”

Tuesday May 7, 2024, TF1 broadcast the twelfth episode of Koh-Lanta, The Immunity Hunters. A number marked by not one but two departures. Indeed, while Jean was forced to leave the game by medical decision, at the end of the council it was Mégane which was eliminated. Near Purepeople.comthe ex-red looks back on his adventure, thus evoking Léa’s big lie before the votes, Meïssa’s strategy or even her difficult return after the adventure.

Why do you think your comrades voted against you?

I think they voted against me because since the start of reunification I have been quite good at strategy but also at tests. I think that caused concern for the future.

Amri says he didn’t do it willingly, which seems to amuse Julie. What do you think ?

Amri says that, of course. But when he said, during a discussion on the reunified camp, that we must vote for a big name, he seemed to rather agree with this idea of eliminating me.

Léa, Pauline and Amri indicate that they do not trust you. How do you explain it?

I wouldn’t really know how to explain this lack of confidence in myself. As you could see in the episode, we asked Léa to be the only yellow to come with us to the orientation since it is a test that is played by 5 and there were 4 of us. red. So I don’t really understand. We also proposed a strategy to Pauline during the first episode of reunification: if she wanted to be part of our team of ex-reds, we would be super happy. And if she wanted, she could also take Léa under her wing. This lack of confidence, I don’t know if he’s 100% honest. I also think that the ex-yellows saw that I was really still staying with the ex-reds, maybe they were afraid for the future.

Léa also mentions the fact that she shares her voting intentions with you but not you…

I understand. It’s true that I hadn’t given my voting intentions. But as I answered her, at no time did she ask me for them. If she had asked me, I would have told her that I continued to target Amri as I had since the beginning of reunification. So I find that it lacks honesty. Because it’s not once the person has done something stupid that we tell them about it. There, it seems like it was a bit of a good excuse that came out of nowhere… Afterwards, that’s probably his feeling but I find that it clearly lacks honesty.

You are also accused of not being clear in your game, particularly with Meïssa. What do you think ?

I assume I played a double game. I had to choose between either following Meïssa and completely rallying behind the yellows knowing that all the ex-reds would have jumped one by one as the advice came, or I continued in my ex-red alliance where we all made a promise to go as far as possible together until the moment when we would have had to eliminate each other based on merit, affinities, etc. I had to make a choice and I decided to protect the ex-reds. At the same time, I continue to be with Meïssa, who is still an ex-red, who asked the ex-yellows to protect me.

What do you think of Meïssa’s strategy of allying with Amri?

It’s really unique to each person. Once we achieve reunification, we are supposed to be a white tribe, moving forward alone. Meïssa made her own choice by allying herself with Amri. He did not feel listened to by the ex-reds. We each take different paths to go as far as possible.

He indicated that he did not feel sufficiently listened to by the ex-reds, what do you think?

I clearly had the same feeling as him. It was not easy at the start of reunification. We arrived in numerical superiority and then everything was ruined on all sides, with a misunderstood Meïssa who was blamed for not having broken Amri’s arrow… In general, when we blame someone for something one, the person gets offended. And then with fatigue, the whole group did not take enough responsibility to put water in their wine. It’s a shame. We tried to have several meetings, to talk about it calmly and to sort things out but it didn’t work. So he went his own way.

You were close to Jean, how did you experience his departure?

It was a real blow. Already because I was really the adventurer of this season. He’s very active at the camp, he does a lot for everyone, he’s good at the events… He really wins everything, except archery. We had just spent destinies linked together, winning everything, spending moments of sharing. It’s true that Jean’s departure destabilized me both personally and strategically for the rest of the votes.

What was the hardest thing for you in Koh Lanta ?

I would still say the lack of food. In everyday life, I am truly epicurean, I love to eat, I like my little glass of wine, to enjoy it to the fullest… I have never been on a diet, I have never deprived myself. So it’s true that going from everything to nothing overnight is not easy. Especially since we still spent seven days on the red camp without anything since we didn’t have a fire. It was really very hard. I tried to drink a lot of water to make up for the lack of food and to feel full.

How many pounds have you lost?

I lost 10 kilos. As you can see, I really have a wasp waist. I took them back. When I got home, I was careful because as soon as I ate I got sick. It lasted about a month and a half. My head was spinning and my stomach cramped for two days whenever I ate meat. It is on the way back that we realize the adventure we have experienced. It’s very difficult because you have to get into a rhythm. Fortunately, we are well monitored by the production doctor, we are well supervised, we have nutritional advice.

What was your first action upon returning?

Being back in a bed with clean sheets that smelled like laundry felt good! But for my part, it was pretty special. I was so sad that the adventure was ending that at first I didn’t really enjoy eating. I was happy to be in my bed but I would have given anything to return to the adventure. I know it was really complicated. All this comfort, all this food, I didn’t even want it anymore. All I wanted was to get back to camp.

What has changed in your life since then? Koh Lanta ?

Since I returned, I really want change and to find the balance of life that will make me as happy as when I was on the island. I ask myself a lot: which job would be my dream? Don’t I rather want to travel for six months and then settle down somewhere? There has been a big questioning since the return.

In your opinion, among the adventurers still in the running, who should win Koh Lanta ?

This is a super tough question! If there had still been Jean, I would have designated him. But there, with the people on the island, I wouldn’t know how to say. Because for me, Jean ticked all the boxes. I don’t know who I would like to see win other than him. Or at the limit, at the level of merit I would say Meïssa. Because he remains an ex-red who has worn down all the strings to his bow. He plays strategy and gives his all to the tests.
