Un Si Grand Soleil: Summary of the episode of September 30, 2024
Ludo embarks on a new fight
Ludo takes Rémi to the place where he planted mushrooms with Laura. He then gives the young man some humus to spread on the ground when suddenly, they hear detonations. Rémi gets scared and wants to leave.
It’s the first day of school. Achille, Tom, Tiago and Noura find themselves in the same class. The teenagers are relieved. Tiago suggests to his friends that they go to the beach, but Tom declines, pretending that he has something to do. He confides in Achille that he has to go water cannabis plants deep in the forest for several weeks.
Back at the farm, Ludo receives a call from Johanna. She informs him that William and Élodie must make an official request to withdraw the part of the land on which he grows mushrooms from hunting. Ludo is confident. He thinks that Élodie and her father will agree to do it. Then, he asks Johanna how she feels. She explains that she will know tomorrow if the IVF was successful. But suddenly, Ludo hears gunshots and has to interrupt the discussion.
At the hospital, Élodie and William get some good news. Janet tells the young woman’s father that he is in remission. When they return to the farm, Ludo tells them what to do to withdraw part of their property from hunting. But William doesn’t want to cause problems with the hunters. Plus, it suits him that he gets rid of the wild boars that are destroying his land.
Normal life resumes at the Cressons, well almost
At the police station, a confrontation is organized between Céline and Sylvain Perret. Céline explains that they had a one-night stand six months ago. Sylvain Perret declares that they saw each other for the first time on 23, his lucky number, and that they knew right away that it was true love. Céline specifies that she saw him again once to clear things up, because he was harassing her by messages to see her again. The pretty thirty-something adds that she hasn’t seen him since. Sylvain Perret, for his part, is in his delirium, and tells Céline that she was lost at the time, and that that’s why he got rid of all those guys around her. Céline, angry, shouts at him that there is nothing between them and calls him a psychopath. Manu asks him to calm down. Sylvain continues in his delirium, while Céline, uncomfortable, asks to leave the room. Alex, for his part, followed the confrontation thanks to the surveillance cameras. He calls out to Céline in the hallway. She confides in him that she feels guilty about what Sylvain Perret did. Alex claims that it is not her fault. He adds that she just had a bad encounter and that this happens. Then, he asks her forgiveness for not having told him everything. Exhausted, Céline ends the conversation.
At the hospital, Janet informs Evan that his physical exam is normal. He will be able to go home today. Dr. Lewis insists that he will need to rest. Evan confides in Janet that he has been having nightmares. Janet encourages him to continue his therapy and take the time he needs to recover. Evan thanks her for her support.
At the police station, Manu informs Clément that the confrontation confirmed what he already knew: Sylvain Perret is obsessed with Céline. Clément responds that Judge Laplace has requested a psychiatric assessment.
Chloe, for her part, learned from Evan that he was going to leave the hospital and asks Cécile if she doesn’t mind if she leaves early to go get him. Judge Alphand is understanding. She then asks Chloe if she is happy that Evan is coming home. Chloe confides in her that she is lost. She can’t help but think that he is the one who put himself in this situation. If he hadn’t cheated on her, none of this would have happened. Cécile advises her not to wait too long to have a talk with her husband.
Alex, for his part, receives a call from Davia who wants to check on him. He confides to his sister that he feels like his relationship with Céline will not go any further and he regrets it because he really liked her.
Evan comes home and tells his wife and son that he feels bad for putting them through hell. Chloe interrupts and tells him they’ll talk about it later. She stresses that the most important thing is that he’s alive. Near tears, Evan tells his wife that he’s truly sorry.
