A birth book with the Strasbourg app Chillhood

“The app Chillhood allows you to create souvenir albums from your phone for your children, and the idea is really to revolutionize the way we create birth books or photo albums”, specifies Régis Pietronave, one of the co-founders of Chillhood. “We thought about a new way to tell and print your child’s memories, to later give them a nice gift that the parent will be proud of. Our first product is called the Chillbook. It’s a small 52-page design book to create from the mobile application.”

The Chillbook has a beautiful hardcover like a beautiful book. It is sold for 59.90 € and is printed in France, near Lille.

The application is like a creation assistant : she will help the parent with the layout of the photos, she will pre-write texts and even suggest pages when we don’t have inspiration. “We are thus responding to a real demand, all parents have thousands of photos of their children in their phone. We are always afraid of missing something. We wanted to create a tool that allows you to create souvenir albums from your phone, in a few clicks”, adds Régis Pietronave.

Chillhood plans to develop other products, including a birth box, in addition to the photo album, we will be able to keep the first slippers, the first locks of hair or the first bodysuit. Chillhood also wants to explore new themes like marriage and travel.

The application is available on the appstore and the playstore. A chillbook can be a nice gift idea for a birth.
