Emerald Resources NL is an Australia-based gold exploration and mining company. The Company operates the Okvau gold deposit in Mondulkiri Province, eastern Cambodia, and is exploring other potential gold projects in Cambodia for development. Its interests in Cambodian projects cover a total area of more than 1,428 square kilometers (km2). The Okvau gold mine is located more than 275 km northeast of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, in Mondulkiri province. The Company’s 100% owned Memot gold project is located over 100 km southwest of the Okvau gold mine and covers approximately 107 km2 of a highly prospective area for gold exploration. Its operations in Australia focus on the tenements of the North Laverton gold project, in the Dingo Range greenstone belt. The North Laverton Gold Project comprises over 36 exploration licenses (including five applications) and four mining licenses covering the majority of the Dingo Range greenstone belt over an area of over 800 km2.
