A history-geography teacher shows Charlie Hebdo caricatures: a student threatens him with death in Doubs

The facts date back to January 8, the day after the national tribute to the victims of the Charlie Hebdo attack in 2015.

That day, a professor in a college in Montbéliard gave a civic education course on the theme of freedom of expression and freedom of the press, as reported France 3.

In court in February

A week later, the schoolgirl comes to meet the teacher and tells him that a high school student wants “come and kill him”. The teacher files a complaint.

The young girl was summoned, as well as her mother, our colleagues specify. She is expected to be heard in court in February. She is being prosecuted for “death threats against a person entrusted with a public service mission”.

A disciplinary council should also rule on his fate.
