After opening the doors of their house to their friends and relatives who had escaped the flames, the couple went to meet the victims and the emergency services on January 10. “They want to be as helpful as possible,” said Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo. And added: “They took the time to meet the people affected and spent time with them. They are very caring people who care about their friends and neighbors. »

The couple’s visit was not unanimous.
