Ferrexpo takes note of media reports that its Ukrainian unit faces accusations of illegal mining

Mining group Ferrexpo said on Thursday it had taken note of media reports regarding charges brought by Ukraine’s prosecutor’s office against four senior executives of its Ferrexpo Poltava Mining unit over illegal mining and sale of waste products.

The group, one of the world’s three largest exporters of iron ore pellets, said its operations were not affected by the court case, while FPM said the accusations were “baseless”.
