Notre Opinion Tech

It is always inspiring to see initiatives such as the Vice-Chancellor's Research Awards which help to highlight the significant contributions of researchers, not only to their institution, but also to their local communities. This recalls the importance of institutional support in the development of researchers' careers and in the promotion of quality research that responds to societal challenges. As actors of innovation, we should consider means of structure and financing that continue to encourage such collaborations, and thus strengthen the link between academic research and its practical impacts.

Good to know: The Vice-Chancellor's Research Awards are just one of the many ways in which universities recognize the importance of research and its often overlooked actors. Support for research, particularly among young researchers, is crucial for the future of scientific and technological advances.
