A duo of robbers stole, this Wednesday, November 27, in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône (Val-d’Oise), a shipment of gold jewelry, with an estimated value of 400,000 euros. According to our information, no one was injured in the attack.
Around 11 a.m., rue Ampère, the criminals waited for the unmarked van of the cash transporter Temis to park in front of a company specializing in the manufacture of jewelry. One of the conveyors left the establishment with a bag containing the precious merchandise.
It was at that moment that the two thugs, armed with a pistol and a tear gas canister, ran towards him. They threatened the employee who was holding the briefcase. The latter did not exert any resistance. The thieves then snatched the loot from his hands. They got back into the car and fled the scene quickly, in an undetermined direction.
Alerted, the police quickly went to the scene, according to Actu 17, which revealed the information. The investigators made the first observations of use. The banditry suppression brigade (BRB) of the judicial police of Versailles (Yvelines) was seized of the investigation. The two victims must be heard during the day. “The police will do everything possible to identify and arrest the perpetrators of this attack,” specifies a source close to the matter.
This affair is reminiscent of a previous episode which occurred on June 3, which ended in failure. That day, the cash conveyors were driving on an access ramp from the N 184 to Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône before falling into a trap.
But the employees escaped the ambush by reversing before fleeing. The van contained 10 kg of gold with an estimated value of 330,000 euros. For the record, Temis does not transport money. This company specializes in the transport of precious metals, jewelry and haute couture pieces.
