Near Lyon. A teenager is hit in the face with a box cutter at a TCL bus stop

A bladed weapon was used this Monday, November 25 in Vaulx-en-Velin, in the metropolis of Lyon. A minor was injured in the face during a fight for an undetermined reason.

An investigation is underway, confirms news Lyon the Lyon police.

Facts at a bus stop

According to information from Progressconfirmed by news Lyonthe events took place around 4 p.m. at a bus stop on avenue de Bolhen, a few steps from the Lyon Hippodrome – Carré de Soie.

When getting off the TCL 67 line bus, a violent altercation broke out between several people. An argument that began on the bus according to our colleagues, and which turned into an armed confrontation once on the sidewalk.

A wounded man with a cutter

A brawl which ended with an injured person, probably a young minor, hit with a coup de cutter.

A bladed weapon which would have caused a long wound on the face of the teenager, without however seriously injuring him, his vital prognosis was not in jeopardy.

The victim was finally treated by emergency services and transported to a nearby hospital. The police also intervened on site.

A investigation was opened to understand what exactly happened.
