The stagnation of domestic fuel prices continues. After having evolved downward, then upward, the prices of this fuel have therefore remained at the same levels for several days.
This Tuesday, November 26, ordinary fuel oil is exactly 1.119 euros per liter, according to the specialized site Prixfioul.fr. As for the superior, it is sold on average at 1.138 euros per liter. Both for ordinary and superior, the prices observed this Tuesday are almost at the same levels as those recorded over the last few days.
For its part, the Fioulreduc site displays an average price of 1.116 euros per liter. According to this online comparator, the day's price has been unchanged since Saturday. Finally, on the Fioulmarket site, fuel oil is sold for 1,109 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Here too, today's price is the same as that observed on Monday.
Where to find the cheapest domestic fuel oil in France this Tuesday?
According to the Fioulreduc.fr platform, which compares the prices of domestic fuel oil between regions, it is in Franche-Comté that we find the cheapest price in France today, with 1,075 euros on average for a purchase of 1,000 liters. Conversely, it is in Champagne-Ardenne that the price is the highest in the entire country, with 1,149 euros for an order of 1,000 liters. For comparison, the difference in prices between Franche-Comté and Champagne-Ardenne amounts to 74 euros for a purchase of 1,000 liters.
In the coming days, this stagnation in domestic fuel prices could end. To understand this prediction, we need to take a look at the oil markets. Indeed, since the start of the week, oil prices have been on a downward trend, and when the prices of black gold fall, those of domestic fuel oil generally follow the same trend in France.
According to the specialized site Prixdubaril, Brent from the North Sea is quoted at $72.59 this Tuesday morning, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is at $69.07 per barrel. Compared to last week, oil is down several dollars per barrel. In the coming days, fuel oil prices could therefore fall, enabling households heating with this fuel to make significant savings. In fact, prices are still among the lowest of the current year.
