R1C4 – Prix Renaud du Vivier – Great Hurdle Race for 4-year-olds Group 1 – 3900 meters

The favorite Kingland (403), and the outsider Pistachio Doré (404), by Jordan Philippy

403 – Kingland : Easy winner of the Pierre de Lassus Prize (Gr.3)facing a majority of the competitors he faces this Sunday, Kingland logically appears to be the colt to beat. If this resident of Francois Nicolle had a more irregular start to his career, he now seems to have reached maturity and found his cruising speed.

404 – Golden Pistachio : Winner of the Alain du Breil Prize (Gr. 1) in the first semester, this protégé of Daniela Mele ended not far from Kingland in the Price of Maisons-Laffite (Gr.3) on the occasion of his return to school. Despite his eloquent track record, it is a safe bet that his rating will remain speculative in this Renaud du Vivier Prize (Gr.1) all in all homogeneous.

The favorite Kingland (403) and the outsider, Zephyr de Beaumont (405), by Thibault Marlin

403 – Kingland : It's difficult to go against the current leader of his generation over hurdles. In the spring he came very close to a first coronation in the Prix Alain du Breil (Gr.1). This fall, this time fully assuming his position as favorite, he took his revenge on Pistache Doré (404) and hit the nail on the head in the last preparatory, which he flew over. We expect him to confirm, without incident he should succeed, especially since he will appreciate the softening of the tracks.

405 – Zephyr de Beaumont : the image of the favorite, he also started in the Finot Prizefinishing in eighth place, a very clear distance from Kingland. Since then, his trainer has made him take the side roads, running in the provinces before going down to twice last winter. This year, he never got off the podium and he remains with an easy success in Compiègne. At the start of his first group this Sunday, he will discover the distance, if he holds out he can play the party trouble on a big scale.

We went to meet Kingland this week, a report to discover in the following video.
