Thierry Lhermitte shared souvenirs on the set of France Inter. He mentioned the troop debut with Gérard Jugnot, at the Pasteur high school in Neuilly-sur-Seine. It is made up of Christian Clavier, Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte, Michel Blanc, Josiane Balasko, Marie-Anne Chazel and Bruno Moynot.
Friends also release a work retracing their memories, The Splendid on the Splendid. And Michel Blanc participated in the project: the book was at the stage of
the printing press at the time of his tragic death happened a few weeks ago. The project now pays homage to him and brings together his latest moving writings.

It is at high school that the gang meets and decides to do sketches. But first, they did some
theater : “We were making
spectacles at the theater club with Christian Clavier and Gérard Jugnot. We played real coins.” explains Thierry Lhermitte when talking about the beginnings of Splendida group of friends who share the same
passion.
Gérard Jugnot then underlined an important detail. “This is how we have met Michel Blanc, I introduced him to play the first part. And he auditioned in front of them.” laughs the actor. “Don't say that, I'm ashamed of it retrospectively. We were very serious.” then replies Thierry Lhermitte.

was a way of getting together for the troupe, who shared many youthful memories together. “When we see each other, we each have different memories to tell.” explains Gérard Jugnot, qualifying with the sudden death of Michel Blanc. “The party is a bit
wastedwe thought find yourself thanks to this book, something we don't do often.”
And Thierry Lhermitte was particularly
touch to reread the last writings of the deceased actor Tanned. “That's it
frequented and we often spoke again about the book. (…) The night Michel died, I read his comments on the book. It was very
moving. He disappears and I discover what he
is saying about what we experienced together.
It is written with talent. These are letters of love and friendship between us.”
