This Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 6:47 p.m.firefighters intervened to a road accident involving two vehicles on the inner ring road of Nantes near the Bellevue bridge, in Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire.

Five people involved, one victim missing

When help arrived, five victims involved in the accident were taken care of. According to the departmental fire and rescue operational center (Codis), a sixth person was missing.

“Reconnaissances along the ring road and the SNCF tracks were carried out by the dog team without result,” indicates Codis in its operational bulletin.

A 59-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man, with minor injuries, were transported to Nantes University Hospital. Three people (men aged 31 and 61, and a woman aged 59) were left behind.

In total, the operation mobilized 17 firefighters and a dog team. Road and rail traffic was impacted for almost an hour.
