This Sunday, November 10, around 11:30 a.m., a fire broke out in an apartment located in a building on rue de Commercy, in Fameck. The latter was occupied by two people, who immediately alerted the emergency services.

Firefighters from Moyeuvre, Terville, Courcelles, Hayange and Thionville intervened. On site, 35 people were evacuated.
“The fire remained localized in the apartment, it did not spread to other apartments in the building,” said Commander Neu.
Around thirty firefighters and two fire-fighting machines were deployed. The fire was contained around 12:20 p.m.
The perimeter was secured by around ten gendarmes.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but no injuries were reported.
The origin of this fire remains unknown at this time.
