For almost four hourshe was at liberty in the Rouen metropolis. And while a manhunt was underway, he was finally arrested by the police at 9:50 p.m.

On October 20, late in the afternoon, the police were called after the discovery of the body of the 17-year-old girl, victim of several stab woundsin the apartment of his ex-companion, located rue Newton, in the Lombardy district. The main suspects was arrested while trying to flee to Algeria.

On October 22, “an investigation was opened on the charge of aggravated murder. The accused was the subject of a prefectural order for placement in psychiatric care,” the Rouen public prosecutor then specified, Sébastien Gallois.
