Taha Oualidat, main suspect in the murder of Philippine, a 19-year-old Yvelin student found dead on September 21 in the Bois de Boulogne, was handed over to the French authorities this morning. Arrested in Geneva, then transferred to Annemasse before being presented to an investigating judge in Paris, he initially refused extradition before changing his mind. As a reminder, Taha Oualidat, an irregular Moroccan under an obligation to leave the territory, had already been convicted of rape in 2019.

Taha Oualidat was indicted this Wednesday, November 7, for repeat murder and rape, according to the Paris prosecutor's office. He is suspected of having raped and killed Philippine, a Parisian student found dead in the Bois de Boulogne in September. The individual was also indicted for repeat theft and repeat fraud.
