On October 31, anarchist Kyriakos Xymitiris was killed by an explosion in an apartment in the Ambelókipi district of Athens. Another ananarchist activist, Marianna M., was seriously injured by the explosion. She is currently in hospital, under arrest warrant. Two other people who were not in the apartment are being prosecuted. Dimitra Z., tenant of the apartment, was arrested yesterday evening at Athens airport as she returned from Switzerland, where she was when the bomb exploded. His companion is also detained and prosecuted for terrorism.
