THE departments of Eure and Seine-Maritime are placed on orange snow and ice alert by Météo France this Friday. The authorities took measures due to traffic difficulties.
No trains running
Rail traffic is suspended on all lines of the Nomad train network this Friday, November 22 morning. As soon as there is a lull, reconnaissance trains will run, to ensure that there are no obstacles on the tracks, before any resumption of traffic. In the event of the presence of trees and branches, the SNCF Réseau teams of lumberjacks present on board these trains will be responsible for clearing the tracks. The normal resumption of traffic, scheduled for Friday November 22 at 12 p.m., will depend on the impacts of the storm on the tracks.
