The Clippers won their first game at the Intuit Dome!

Everything comes in time to those who wait. This is probably the sentence written on the paperboard by Tyronn Lue in the Clippers locker room. It must be said that before experiencing their first victory at home, the Voiliers took time. Five games, exactly. But with the success against Spurs last night, the curse is finally over.

That's it, it's done, the Intuit Dome has finally been inaugurated as it should be. After days and days of waiting, the Clippers finally managed to win their first home game last night against the Spurs (113-104). A historic first victory, since it also marks the Clipps' very first success in their new venue. And the least we can say is that it will be a long wait. Five matches in total. This is what Clippers fans will have to wait for before seeing the Intuit Dome light up in the colors of the Sailboats.

The @LAClippers come ALL the way back from 26 down! ????

When they entered the competition, the Clipps failed by three small points against the Suns at home. A few days later, a more than avoidable defeat against the Blazers pushed back the festivities at the Intuit Dome. Same scenario for the next two meetings, once again against the Suns, then the Thunder. Finally, we had to wait until the fifth game of the season at home to see the Clippers finally win at home, against the Spurs. Moreover, this meeting had everything to be extraordinary, since Victor Wembanyama threw 9 blocks (!), Amir Coffey placed 21 pawns and LA made up a 26-point deficit. So when the stars align…

We winnow, we winnow, but the fact remains that even if the Clippers struggle to win, they now have one of the most beautiful rooms in the NBA. A jewel of technology, for which Steve Ballmer, owner of the franchise, paid 2 billion dollarsallowing his team to leave the legendary Crypto.com Arena Staples Center. This first victory is therefore historic, and perhaps marks the start of a series of successes at the Intuit Dome.
