SOCAN presents a No. 1 Award to Evan Blair

SOCAN was happy and proud to present a No. 1 Award to Evan Blair for his participation in the creation of the piece Beautiful Things which reached the top of the Global 200 ranking of Billboard on March 30, 2024. The song has remained in the Top 10 since its release and has surpassed 1.5 billion streams on Spotify and 363 million plays on YouTube.

Blair co-wrote Beautiful Things with Jack Larson and Benson Boone, both affiliated with BMI, and is co-published by Sony Music Publishing, Warner Chappell Music Publishing and Selector Songs.

On October 29, 2024, SOCAN LA Creative Relations Managers Racquel Villagante and Liam Russell presented her award to Blair, who was joined by Adam Alpert of Selector Songs, Jennifer Fierman of Sony Music Publishing and three representatives of This is Noise Management, Dan Petel, Delaney Rogers and Noah Edge.
